The Entrepreneur Center and Theralent Executive Search are excited to present an inspiring speech from Jimmy Hatch at the Dayton Racquet Club, March 1, from 11:30 AM – 1 PM.  Lunch is an option for $25 (cash only), please select Lunch option when you RSVP at the bottom of the page.

Jimmy Hatch is a retired Naval Special Warfare operator and founder of Spikes K9 Fund.  Spikes K9 Fund raises money to purchase protective vests for police K9s.

Jimmy had 150 direct action combat missions in the elite Navy SEALs and was wounded in combat.  Today, James continues to serve by imparting his hard-earned lessons learned from his career and personal experience around the world at a multitude of speaking engagements.

You can view an interview Jimmy had with Anderson Cooper:  http://www.cnn.com/2015/09/11/politics/navy-seal-bowe-bergdahl-anderson-cooper/

“While I was a member of the military I learned that I had a good ability to communicate and to convey difficult concepts clearly and efficiently. I was qualified as a “Master Training Specialist” which is a big word that means I completed all the necessary requirements to train other service-members in things like live close-quarters shooting and high altitude parachuting.”

James recalls, “The period of my life post being wounded was probably the most difficult thing I’ve encountered and I learned, as I was merely a spectator at this point, that the human spirit is indeed something special.”

Owing to that lived-experience, after every principle he was taught was pressure-tested in ways most of us never know, James relates the tenets of his own recovery and resilience in a compelling way that resonates with men and women, whether they have seen combat or only heard about it in the news.

The main points of his speech will concentrate on resiliency, taking care of the people around you and practical ways to ensure you’re an asset to your team and family, as opposed to a liability.  Most importantly from his perspective is resiliency, which is key to an engaged, high-performing workforce.

A Q&A session will follow his speech.
