VP of Market Access

A young biotech company located outside of Boston, MA is expanding and adding a VP of Market Access to their team.  The role can be based remotely and no need for relocation.

My client has recently gained approval for their first product and have developed the coding and market access strategy for it.  The product will be launched this summer and they have built a team to include payer and provider support for it.  The VP role will continue to refine the strategy and adapt to any changes in the market when it launches.

Their first product has an interesting niche and no significant competitors and it prevents the use of a more expensive product which has some impactful side effects.

Of more importance is the development of coding, coverage and payment strategies for their pipeline product which has significant potential.

This is a great role if you’d like to develop strategies for products on the market as well as pipeline products.

The ideal candidate would have early stage market access strategy development, coding strategy, buy and bill in the biotech space.  The company would be particularly interested in someone with both drug and device strategy experience.
